The right amount at the right time
The systemic leader wants the system to flow. The art is knowing when and how the leader can contribute.
As a leader it is important to make choices and focus on what this choice requires. This choice is necessary for the system to flow. Any energy that cannot be absorbed into the system is going to find another, ineffective outlet. And the energy that you do put in requires, above all, to be administered in the right way at the right time.
You can give a little push to get things moving – but not too hard because then there will be a pushback. And the priority list is a great tool – but do not put too much on it because then it will only result in less tasks being ticked off.
Even healthy things can be toxic or deadly if you take too much of them. For instance, people have died from drinking too much water! Therefore, everything is basically poison – unless you know how to add the right dose at the right time.
If you administer too large a dose, you will throw the system over the edge.
If you administer another dose too quickly, the system will block.
